GBRf 66784 'Keighley & Worth Valley Railway 50th Anniversary 1968-2018' at Deighton on the rear of an engineers' train working from Thornhill LNW Junction to Doncaster Up Decoy Yard.
GBRf 66720 'Wascosa' was the leading locomotive.
This engineers' train, one of several on this date, was in connection with work being undertaken by Network Rail at Morley during a closure of the Huddersfield line between Whitehall Junction (Leeds) and Thornhill LNW Junction (Ravensthorpe).
The line was closed over the weekend of 28th & 29th January 2023.
Work at Morley, which forms part of the Transpennine Route Upgrade (TRU), includes the relocation of the station, with new platforms c. 200m east towards Leeds.
The track formation was also due to be slewed to raise the permitted speed on the curve towards Morley tunnel.
