TransPennine Express (TPE) Nova 1 set 802212 heading west with a service from York to Liverpool Lime Street.

This service, together with others operated by TPE over the weekend of 28th & 29th January 2023, were being diverted between Leeds and Huddersfield using the route via Wakefield Kirkgate.

This was due to work being undertaken by Network Rail at Morley in connection with the Transpennine Route Upgrade, requiring a closure of the line between Whitehall Junction (Leeds) and Thornhill LNW Junction (Ravensthorpe).
