The first class 345 electric multiple unit (EMU) constructed by Bombardier Transportation UK at their Derby workshops on the test track during a press event on 29th July 2016.

The first trains for Transport for London (TfL) will enter passenger service in May 2017 and are destined for use on the Elizabeth Line when fully open in 2019.
