West Coast Railway Company’s 47802 bringing up the rear of the ‘The Great Britain XV’ rail tour.

London Midland and Scottish Railway Jubilee class steam locomotive 45690 ‘Leander’ was the leading locomotive.

The Great Britain XV rail tour started on 15th April from London Paddington, finishing on 23rd April at London Liverpool Street. The rail tour featured steam locomotive haulage, with an itinerary that visited destinations in England, Wales and Scotland.

This leg of the tour was from Blackpool North to York, before heading to Scarborough.
