A view of Thornhill LNW Junction which will be replaced by a new track layout as part of the Transpennine Route Upgrade work taking place around Ravensthorpe railway station.

The current station is due to close from 14th December 2025 until ’Summer 2028’.

As part of the Transpennine Route Upgrade, a new modernised station is to be built 200m west of the current site.
