Grand Central HST power car 43465 stands at York on 27th December 2017 with 1A61, 08.42 Sunderland to London Kings Cross.

Grand Central were due to cease use of HSTs from the end of 2017, to be replaced by further class 180s displaced by GWR following the introduction of class 800 IETs.
