A view looking east towards the location of the former Deighton station. It was closed from 30th August 2025.

Eventually there will be four tracks at this point. A pair for ‘fast’ services and another pair, the first of which on the left is partly completed, for local services.

A new station is to be built at Deighton with platforms provided for local services.
