View of the Transpennine Route Upgrade (TRU) work underway around Bradley Junction.

Bradley Junction is to be relaid and the ‘Down Huddersfield’ line and the line leading from Bradley Junction to Bradley Wood Junction and the Calder Valley line have been lifted and the formation prepared ready to be relaid with new track.

The line between Huddersfield and Heaton Lodge Junction was closed from 2nd May until 25th May to allow track replacement at Bradley Junction and other extensive works around Deighton inconnection with the TRU.
