View of the Transpennine Route Upgrade (TRU) work underway around Bradley Junction.

Bradley Junction is being replaced and a length of new track panels will be laid from here towards Bradley Wood Junction and the Calder Valley line.

In the background the ‘Down Huddersfield’ line has been lifted and the formation prepared in readiness for relaying.

The line between Huddersfield and Heaton Lodge Junction was closed from 2nd May until 25th May to allow track replacement at Bradley Junction and other extensive works around Deighton inconnection with the TRU.
