View of the Transpennine Route Upgrade (TRU) work around Deighton.

This view is looking east towards Bradley Junction and Deighton, where a replacement station is currently under construction. The station will be served by passenger trains using a new pair of Slow lines, the first of which is in position on the left.

The track on the right is the ‘Up Huddersfield’ line. Immediately to its left was the ‘Down Huddersfield’ line that has recently been lifted during the current engineering work.

The line between Huddersfield and Heaton Lodge Junction was closed from 2nd May until 25th May to allow track replacement at Bradley Junction and other extensive works around Deighton inconnection with the TRU.
