View of the Transpennine Route Upgrade (TRU) work at Deighton.

The ‘Up Huddersfield’ line has now been lifted from just east of Bradley No2 Overbridge (MVL3/05), westwards as far as the cross-over in the distance at this point, just before Red Doles Road Underbridge (MVL3/96). This is a distance of approximately 2 km.

The line between Huddersfield and Heaton Lodge Junction was closed from 2nd May until 25th May to allow track replacement at Bradley Junction and other extensive works around Deighton inconnection with the TRU.
