TransPennine Express 802217 heading away from Bradley Junction towards Colne Bridge and Heaton Lodge East Junction with a service from Liverpool Lime Street to Newcastle.

This was the first day that the Huddersfield line was open between Huddersfield railway station and the Heaton Lodge Junctions after a month long closure for Transpennine Route Upgrade work.
