A busy time at Heaton Lodge Junction with all available tracks occupied by TransPennine Express services.

On the left, stationary at a red signal, is a service from York to Manchester Piccadilly. Passing it is a service from Newcastle to Liverpool Lime Street.

On the right a service from Manchester Piccadilly to York has just passed over Heaton Lodge East Junction.
