A view of the station roof. Renovation has been completed on the end sections of the main roof, with work still to be undertaken on the middle third.

The smaller roof and platform canopy was scheduled to be demolished during the month long station closure.

Also in view is the very large capacity Mammoet crane which had been brought to the site adjacent to Huddersfield railway station and assembled ready for work during the month-long closure of the station.
