During the month-long closure of Huddersfield station a comprehensive bus replacement service was in operation to connect with Manchester and Leeds, in addition to more local towns.

This example, owned by a company in Leeds and parked waiting for its next service, was well away from its old stamping ground around London.

Still wearing the signature London bus red livery and bearing the white buses roundel from its former operator, it makes an unusual sight in Huddersfield.
